Our first full day was a blast, we went down to Puerto Vallarta because we found that’s when all the locals congregate there. Our plan was to walk to the Omelet Bar to have a beer and enjoy the day near the town square. We started out at Hard Rock Café where it cost us nearly $10 US to have some beers.

We headed out from there to find our bar… on our way, we decided to go a little further than we have in the past to see if we could find a marina, we found Old Town.
We had beers where the locals do, the prices were a third of what we paid at the Hard Rock Café. We ended up staying away from the commercialized areas in town.

At the end of our walk through Old Town, we found Vallarta Tours, we were drawn to his shop when we saw the sign that said “No Timeshares”, chatted with the gentleman for a bit, and we booked a 30-foot boat for half of what Funjet was proposing. We go on Friday!
