Mid-vacation

Took our morning walk, spent the balance of the morning by the pool.

After noon we got ready to go on our sunset cruise, had a late lunch at the resort then headed into Santa Cruz. We thought we booked a sailboat for Wednesday, but due to errors in translation, we managed to book it for 6 people for Thursday. The guide was nice and gave us our deposit back.

Thanks to Juan ("John") from the Rooster Fish boat, we had translation and he offered to take us out in his fishing boat. We stopped at one of the bays where we had snorkeled the last time in Huatulco for some cerveza. We went up and down the bays with our own boat and crew, it was beautiful. We saw a sea turtle out at sea as well.

When we returned to Santa Cruz, we decided to go over to La Crucecitas and check our La Crema so we could try the pizza. We found the entrance, made our way up there and had the pizza. They do have a brick oven fired by wood to cook the pizza, so it took a while. It was worth the wait and nothing like pizza I've had in the US.

We made our way back to the resort for a nightcap and early to bed so we could get up early for the full day on Thursday. Up in the mountains for a coffee plantation/waterfalls tour.
