Last day at RIU

Our last morning in Mexico, sitting on the balcony, listening to the ocean and reflecting on how wonderful our vacation was this past week.
Yesterday I spent the day matching people with names of people they resembled in our life back home. Some were chosen because their looks resembled people we know, others we matched up by their mannerisms. It was fun… By the end of the day we would say “Oh, Brad and Kim are back”. Just being silly and having fun. Ron played volleyball in the pool for the last time this week, they only allow the net up for a few hours in the afternoons. I tried to play a little one day, but the pool is too deep for me, it was up to my chin where they played.
Early in the day yesterday, we did our deep-sea fishing trip. We caught some Mahi Mahi and I caught one little bait fish. It was a lot of fun. The deck hand did most of the work getting the poles set up, when a fish was on, he would hand us the pole(s). I can’t believe the size of the one fish I caught. It was HUGE!
All in all it was a great day, it was a great week! Now we spend the day moping and packing and traveling…
