Last full day - Jeep Trip

Well, for the last full day we decided to do a Jeep tour of the island. The other couple in our Jeep was from Chicago. We all had a great time, talked about sports on our way to meet the rest of the group.

The first stop was snorkeling, which I passed on, as the temp is not even 70 today for a high and the winds are pretty strong.

Our second stop was the Mayan ruins on the island where we learned about the Mayans on the island.

The next stop was a Tequila Factory where we learned more about Tequila, where it comes from and how it's made.

We me a quick stop at a handmade craft store on our way, most of the same things we saw at the stores in town.

We made our way to the other side of the island to eat lunch at a local restaurant. Excellent food... Stopped at a small village, El Cedral, to wrap up the tour, as some of the people needed to get back to their cruise ships, so suddenly we were on their clock.

Time to get cleaned up and ready for dinner, then decide if we'll venture back into town one more time before we leave LATE tomorrow...
