Just arrived late tonight (Jan 31) at Melia. The airport in Cozumel, very nice, I’m impressed. If you trave with Apple, remember to go to the Apple Rep when you get off the plane and through customs! Otherwise you will get sucked-in by the “sharks” who sell timeshare-type “memberships”. They will do anything to steer you away from leaving the front doors of the airport.
We arrived to a GREAT surprise – we have an ocean view suite. One evening when it’s clear, I will get sunset pictures, I can hardly wait!
As we check out this place, it seems to be a combination of every resort we have stayed at in Mexico. So far, even in the dark, WE LOVE it here!
The only beer here, Dos Eckes on tap… oh well, it’s not that bad. Ron is happy; he just finished his favorite evening drink… a Sombrero.
Hopefully tomorrow I’ll figure out what’s up with the Internet here, the wireless is a bit unreliable. I NEED TO BE CONNECTED!!! Duh!

Finalizing everything, packing the car... will be on the road to Janesville by 9:00.
